This hub connects nine resources: council decisions, elected-official accountability, 2026 elections, immigration enforcement, the DEI ordinance, school board and parental rights, pro-life policy and organizations, Republican resources, and an ordinance, budget and public-records library. Each resource links to the original records and separates what the dated sources establish from what remains unverified.
County Council votes and policy decisions
Follow the Oconee County Council decision register for selected final votes, source locators and implementation questions. The current edition adds September 2026 decisions on surveillance, county positions and outside counsel, with links to the original minutes. Phase 4 adds four adopted budget/tax ordinances and the local-vendor preference vote to the twelve-decision register.
Ordinances, budgets and public records
The public-records and budget document library connects adopted FY 2026–27 budget ordinances to their June 29 votes, provides exact departmental-budget page locators, and follows the local-vendor preference ordinance into a later procurement document. It distinguishes adoption, spending authorization and implementation evidence.
Elected officials, public records and 2026 elections
The elected-official accountability guide connects county and school offices to source-backed public actions, committee assignments and records to follow. The 2026 Oconee election guide brings together the county notice, early voting in Walhalla, official sample-ballot and precinct lookup, and the separate city special election. Both cover Oconee County, South Carolina.
Immigration enforcement
The Oconee County ICE / 287(g) resource documents the Warrant Service Officer model, the sheriff's August 2025 implementation announcement, program scope, evidence gaps and the source register. It separates what the dated records establish from what remains unverified. Phase 2 adds the sheriff's attributed February 2026 committee report and explains why a county-departure count is not a federal deportation or conviction count. See also our immigration coverage.
County DEI decision
The Oconee County DEI Ordinance 2025-05 resource documents the March 4, 2025 adoption record, the 5-0 final-reading vote and what the minutes establish. It separates the adoption record from the operative text, amendments and implementation.
School board and parental rights
The Oconee County School Board & Parental Rights Guide helps readers locate authoritative district policy, board records, the library catalog, instructional-material complaint procedures and South Carolina's Student Physical Privacy Act. It separates district policy from state law and documents a source date conflict. Phase 2 adds approved summer 2026 decisions, local library Policy IJL and the state's dated complaint-start clarification. Broader parental notification and student privacy resources supply related context.
Pro-life organizations
The right-to-life resolution and pro-life resources guide documents Resolution 2021-14's 2021 adoption, distinguishes its civic declaration from an abortion ban, and links the local Citizens for Life chapter and a pregnancy-support organization.
Republican resources
The Republican organizations, officials and public-record resources directory links the county party, Republican Men and Republican Women alongside separate public-office and records gateways. It is an independent directory; each organization supplies its own current details.

Sources and editorial method
This edition was reviewed on October 11, 2026. Each resource identifies the records examined, their dates and retrieval gaps. Worth Fighting reports from a conservative editorial perspective while separating official facts, party statements, advocacy positions and unresolved claims. The publication is not an official county-government, school-district or Republican Party website.
Organizations' positions are described as their positions, not as opinions shared by every resident. Immigration status is distinguished from race and nationality, and allegations and arrests from convictions. Policies relating to sex-based school facilities, parental rights and religious liberty are covered respectfully and accurately.

Update log and coverage limits
October 11, 2026 — Phase 5: upgraded the county landing page with featured guides, dated coverage cards, topic navigation, source-linked civic resources and a complete nine-guide directory. Existing reporting, source qualifications and canonical routes are preserved.
October 11, 2026 — Phase 4: added an ordinance, budget and public-records library; expanded the council register from seven to twelve final decisions; and connected the officials and civic directories to the new document index. Existing issue pages retain their evidence limits.
October 11, 2026 — Phase 3: added officials/accountability and election guides; expanded the council register with dispatch funding, annexation and voting stages; and joined the school materials policy to an approved 2025 board record. Selected registers remain manually reviewed. Signed ICE records and locally documented facilities-law implementation remain evidence gaps.
October 11, 2026 — Phase 2. Added a council decision register and a substantive pro-life resolution/resource page. Expanded the existing ICE, school and Republican resources and linked the DEI adoption record to the council register.
Dedicated coverage of religious-liberty disputes and district implementation of sex-based facilities law is held pending sufficient local records. No such dispute, violation or local policy vote is inferred from national debate. Review dates describe editorial work, not new government action. This hub does not claim automatic monitoring.
