Early-voting location: Walhalla, South Carolina
The county early-voting page lists the Oconee County Voter Registration and Elections Office, 415 South Pine Street, Walhalla, SC 29691, for the 2026 general election. Its published voting hours are 8:30 a.m.–6 p.m. during the dates above, with Sunday closed.
The office's regular business hours and election-specific early-voting hours are different. Use the election-specific hours when planning a vote. The county page says any voter may use an early-voting center in their county and will be asked for photo ID.
This is Oconee County in South Carolina. An Oconee County, Georgia address in Watkinsville or Georgia advance-voting calendar is for a different jurisdiction. On election day, use the polling place assigned in your official South Carolina voter record; the early-voting office is not automatically your election-day location.
Find your ballot, precinct and registration
The county elections gateway links these South Carolina Election Commission services:
| Reader task | Official destination | Why use it |
|---|---|---|
| Check registration | MySCVotes registration information | Verify your own voter record. |
| Find election-day polling place | MySCVotes polling-place lookup | Confirm the location for your assigned precinct before traveling. |
| View a sample ballot | MySCVotes sample ballot | See the contests attached to your registration rather than assuming all county voters share a ballot. |
These services open on the official state website and request information to identify your record. Worth Fighting does not collect that information. A countywide office list, a candidate's announcement and a personal sample ballot serve different purposes. This guide does not infer ballot certification from a campaign page.
Walhalla special election is a separate municipal contest
Page 3 of the county notice announces a November 3, 2026 special election for one City of Walhalla Council seat. It describes the contest as nonpartisan, without party affiliation on the ballot. The notice identifies Walhalla No. 1 and No. 2 at American Legion Post 124, 319 Kenneth Street.
That municipal notice does not make the contest countywide. Check the state sample-ballot and polling-place tools for your own record. The elected-official accountability guide also distinguishes county, school and agency records; a city council seat is a separate office from County Council.
Photo ID and help with voting questions
The South Carolina Election Commission's photo-ID guide lists current, valid SC driver's licenses, SC DMV IDs, SC voter-registration cards with a photo, federal military IDs and US passports, with specified included forms of identification.
Its guidance also explains the reasonable-impediment procedure for a voter who cannot obtain photo ID: bring the non-photo registration card, inform poll managers, complete the affidavit and cast a provisional ballot under that procedure. Forgetting an existing ID is a different situation with separate instructions. Read the official guide or ask the election office rather than assuming every ID issue has the same remedy.
The Oconee election office lists 864-638-4196 and registrationandelectionsinfo@oconeesc.com. It is the appropriate source for registration, precinct, absentee and ballot questions. The county election board page provides its meeting and certification information.
Public records and Republican civic resources
Election administration and political organizations have different roles. The Republican resource directory links the county party, Republican Men and Republican Women with descriptions attributed to those organizations. Their information is separate from the county election office's official instructions.
For evaluating government actions, use the council vote register, officials and accountability records, and school-policy tracker. They connect dated decisions to original documents. An officeholder's public record should not be confused with the identity or certification of a candidate in a future contest.
Worth Fighting publishes from a conservative perspective. The dates, locations and official-service links on this page are factual civic information for any reader; no party preference is needed to use them.
