Choosing a school involves three separate decisions: whether your child qualifies for Georgia Promise, whether the exact school campus participates, and whether the complete bill fits your budget. This guide brings the published rules and school prices together without treating a scholarship application as an award or a school-list entry as an available seat.
Key Points
- •Academic year: 2026–27; sources checked September 30, 2026.
- •Four selected schools have verified tuition; this is not a complete directory or a school ranking.
- •Program eligibility, campus participation, admission and affordability are separate checks.
- •A tuition deposit credited to the annual bill must not be counted twice.
School year: 2026–27. Sources checked: September 30, 2026. Published by WorthFighting.org. This is an independent, source-based family resource, not an application portal or a school recommendation. Tuition comparisons cover four selected schools; this is not a complete Gwinnett directory. Seat availability has not been verified.
Start here: eligibility, participation and affordability
Georgia Promise has separate student-eligibility and school-participation requirements. The official program describes a public-school enrollment requirement of two consecutive semesters, with an exception for students entering kindergarten; attendance-zone requirements; and a parent residency requirement with an active-duty military exception. The official application process determines eligibility. Living in Gwinnett County, choosing a listed private school, or seeing a familiar public-school name below does not by itself qualify a student. Check the official family guidance.
Use this page to compare published prices, then confirm your child's eligibility and applicable award through Georgia Promise's official website. Separately ask the private school about admission, the exact campus and grade, available seats, a written itemized bill, and the enrollment contract. Do not withdraw a child solely because a calculator shows a possible saving.
Next application window: November 1–30, 2026
The official 2026 calendar lists November 1–30 as the next student application period after this guide's September 30 check. It separately lists October 1–31 for private-school applications to participate in the program. October's school window is not a family application window. Official 2026 application calendar.
The family handbook connects applications to the following enrollment semester. November applications concern spring-semester entry, not an immediate discount on the current fall bill. It also limits spring-semester entry to families at or below 400% of the federal poverty level; higher-income families have different application timing. Do not apply a dollar income threshold without checking the program's household-size and income rules. Family handbook and semester rules.
Dates here are program dates. Each school can have different admission deadlines, contracts and payment requirements.
Four participating schools with verified tuition
The four campuses below appear in the official 2026–27 participating-school list dated April 23, 2026, which was the list linked by the program when checked. That is a dated participation snapshot, not a live vacancy report. Confirm the exact campus, grade and enrollment arrangement before committing. Official participating-school list.
All amounts below are annual tuition in U.S. dollars before aid, not a final family bill. The comparison uses regular domestic-student schedules rather than international, preschool, dual-enrollment or hybrid prices. Schools are listed alphabetically, not ranked.
Killian Hill Christian School — Lilburn
Listed campus: 151 Arcado Road SW. The program list identifies grades K–12.
| Grade or option | Published annual tuition |
|---|---|
| Kindergarten, half day | $9,300 |
| Kindergarten, full day | $11,800 |
| Grades 1–5 | $12,600 |
| Grades 6–8 | $14,400 |
| Grades 9–12 | $15,900 |
The 2026–27 traditional-student schedule separately lists a $550 new-student enrollment fee and a $150 application/testing fee; kindergarten has a $100 application fee without testing. Earlier enrollment discounts had deadlines before this guide's check date. Graduation, learning-support and care charges can add costs. Kindergarten's half-day price is shown as a school price, not a separate determination that every attendance arrangement qualifies for Promise. Killian Hill's 2026–27 fee schedule.
Notre Dame Academy — Duluth
Listed campus: 4635 River Green Parkway. The program list identifies grades K–12.
| Grade | Published annual tuition |
|---|---|
| Kindergarten–grade 5 | $17,575 |
| Grades 6–8 | $19,960 |
| Grades 9–12 | $21,830 |
Published charges include a $125 application fee, $115 enrollment fee, $300 Student-Family Organization activity fee, and technology fees of $135 lower school, $290 middle school or $570 upper school. Payment-plan and other charges also apply.
Avoid counting the deposit twice: the published $1,965 enrollment payment consists of a $1,850 tuition deposit plus the $115 enrollment fee. The deposit is credited toward tuition; it is not another $1,850 on top of the annual price. Confirm the invoice and which charges apply per student versus per family. Notre Dame Academy's tuition, fees and deposit explanation.
Providence Christian Academy — Lilburn campus
Listed campus: 4575 Lawrenceville Highway. This comparison does not extend the Lilburn participation record to Providence's Johns Creek campus or its separate hybrid program.
| Grade | Published annual tuition |
|---|---|
| Kindergarten–grade 1 | $13,845 |
| Grades 2–5 | $16,772 |
| Grades 6–8 | $18,937 |
| Grades 9–12 | $22,215 |
The school separately lists $150 for a new-student application, $300 for new-student enrollment, and $25 per student per year for VCPay enrollment. Its payment-plan sections describe additional management/setup charges and different payment options; verify the chosen plan rather than automatically adding every fee mentioned on the page. Evaluations, STEM, academic support and care may cost extra. Providence's 2026–27 tuition and fee disclosures.
St. John Neumann Regional Catholic School — Lilburn
Listed campus: 791 Tom Smith Road. The program list identifies grades K–8.
| Kindergarten–grade 8 tuition category | Published annual tuition |
|---|---|
| Approved active-parish verification | $10,921 |
| Non-parish or non-Catholic rate | $13,688 |
The lower rate requires the school's parish-verification process; do not assume it applies. Published additions include a $350 book fee, a technology fee of $125 for K–3 or $250 for grades 4–8, and $100 per family for HSA/retreats. A family-level charge should not be multiplied automatically for siblings.
The page's dated and general payment-plan descriptions are not fully aligned. Obtain the actual payment calendar in writing rather than relying on a monthly estimate here. St. John Neumann's tuition and fees.
Other selected schools on the participation list
The same April 23 official list includes Harbour Oaks Montessori School in Grayson, Hebron Christian Academy in Dacula, Old Suwanee Christian School in Buford, Sage School in Lawrenceville, and Sola Fide Academy in Lawrenceville. Current tuition has not been verified for these schools in this guide. That means unknown, not free, not unaffordable, and not unavailable. No inference about school quality follows from inclusion or omission. Check each entry and its listed grades in the official PDF.
Georgia Promise cost calculator
Start with a published annual tuition price, or enter an actual invoice for a different period. Enter your confirmed funding yourself. This estimates costs, not eligibility or an award.
School presets are published 2026–27 annual tuition before aid. You may replace a preset with your actual tuition invoice.
Use only confirmed funds available for this tuition and period. The annual program amount is not automatically a spring award or an upfront payment.
Enter only costs you still pay separately. Do not count a credited tuition deposit again. Blank extra costs mean they are excluded, not zero. Unknown fees, aid compatibility and amounts due before disbursement need separate checks.
Enter tuition for the selected period; an unknown amount is not zero.
No child records are requested. Calculator values are processed in this page and are not submitted or saved by this tool.
Estimate the remaining cost without overstating the scholarship
Odyssey's 2026–27 disbursement guidance describes $6,500 for a complete year, released in $1,625 quarterly installments in July 2026, October 2026, January 2027 and April 2027. Enrollment confirmation and other required steps affect access to funds. This is not a promise that a new spring entrant receives the full-year amount or that the entire award arrives before a school's first bill. Official disbursement guidance.
A useful planning calculation is tuition for the period minus confirmed Promise funds allocated to that tuition, plus the additional out-of-pocket costs you enter. Keep all inputs on the same time basis. Do not subtract money intended for a different expense, count incompatible aid twice, or add a credited tuition deposit again as an extra fee.
For a spring transfer, obtain the school's actual spring invoice. Half of a published annual tuition price is not a verified semester quote. Leaving a fee unverified does not make it zero. An estimate should also remain separate from a cash-flow plan: application fees and deposits may be due before scholarship funds can be used.
Illustrative arithmetic only: $12,600 of tuition minus $6,500 specifically available for that tuition leaves $6,100 of tuition before fees. This is not an eligibility result, a spring-semester award or a school invoice.

This is not the list of private schools accepting scholarship payments. It serves the program's public-school eligibility framework. Do not treat a listing, especially a center with nonstandard attendance arrangements, as proof of a conventional neighborhood boundary or an individual student's eligibility. Use official verification rather than guessing from a mailing address.
Rules to check before signing a school contract
Other scholarships: the family handbook states that Promise cannot be combined with the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship or a scholarship funded through a student scholarship organization, such as GOAL. Have the program and school confirm the treatment of any proposed aid package before budgeting with both awards. Official family handbook.
Admissions and withdrawal: a participating school still has an admissions process. Ask what happens to deposits, tuition liability and enrollment if admission, funding or your preferred start date does not work out. Confirm the required public-school withdrawal timing through the official program before changing enrollment.
Services and educational fit: ask each school about curriculum, religious instruction, transportation, care, available student supports, assessments and charges for required services. This guide compares published costs and program records, not educational quality or suitability for a particular child.
Questions families ask
Does the scholarship make private school free?
Do not assume that. Compare the approved award for the relevant period with tuition and an itemized list of other charges. The annual prices above are before aid, and several school-published fees are additional.
Does my current school have to be on the private-school list?
The public-school eligibility document and the participating-private-school document have different purposes. Read the student rules first; then verify the destination campus. One list cannot replace the other.
Can I apply in November and start immediately?
The published rules connect the November application period to the following spring semester, with income-related restrictions. A program application also does not replace the school's admission and enrollment process. Check the current handbook before applying.
Are any of these schools guaranteed to have seats?
No seat availability is verified in this guide. A campus's presence on a dated participation list does not establish available places in a particular grade.
Will this page decide eligibility or collect my child's records?
No. Use the official program for eligibility and applications. Do not send a child's address, school records, medical documents or application materials to WorthFighting.org. A cost comparison does not require those records.
Before you commit: a family checklist
Confirm the official eligibility result and enrollment semester. Obtain an admission decision for the specific school, campus and grade. Ask for the actual tuition invoice, required fees, optional costs, credited deposits, refund terms and payment dates. Confirm how much scholarship funding is available for tuition during that period and whether any other aid is compatible. Then compare the remaining cost and the cash needed before funding arrives.
Open the official Georgia Promise website for program applications and current guidance. WorthFighting.org does not approve awards, reserve school places or receive tuition payments.
Sources, scope and corrections
School prices come from the linked schools' own 2026–27 disclosures. Participation comes from the dated official program list; eligibility and dates come from program documents and Odyssey support. Links are provided beside the relevant claims so families can inspect the source and spot later changes.
Not verified: current seats, individual eligibility, a complete countywide school inventory, unpublished fees, individualized discounts and semester proration. No interviews or school visits are claimed. This page does not rank or endorse schools.
Change log — September 30, 2026: initial publication with four verified tuition comparisons, selected additional participation-list entries, the public-school list distinction and funding-timing guidance. A source-check date is not a promise that a school or program will leave its terms unchanged.

Why It Matters to Gwinnett Residents
Families need to distinguish educational options from marketing claims, a published scholarship maximum from an actual award, and annual tuition from the complete bill. Showing the sources, restrictions and remaining unknowns helps parents make their own decisions.
