Precinct Analysis

The sections below — precinct swing, strongest Republican precincts, most competitive precincts, and highest-turnout precincts — require official precinct-level datasets. These will be populated when an official machine-readable feed is available. Until then, each is accessible via the official Gwinnett County Statement of Votes Cast reports.

Which Gwinnett Precincts Are Changing?

Georgia redrew congressional and legislative district lines following the 2020 Census (effective 2022–2030 cycle). Gwinnett County's 2024 congressional districts are 4, 9, 10, and 13. Precinct boundaries are periodically adjusted by the County. Comparing precinct results across different election cycles requires caution: a precinct with the same name may have different boundaries, and district-to-precinct mappings change. WorthFighting does not claim a precinct 'shifted' politically when boundary changes affect comparability. Always compare like-for-like races (presidential to presidential, governor to governor) and disclose any boundary changes.

City-level result aggregation requires an official precinct-to-city geographic overlay. Many Gwinnett postal addresses are in unincorporated areas and do not correspond to municipal boundaries. WorthFighting will publish city-level totals only when an official geographic crosswalk can be verified. What the Results Mean

Editorial Analysis — separated from raw data

Gwinnett County's certified presidential results show a consistent Democratic margin since 2016, though that margin narrowed between 2020 and 2024. Republican vote share in raw terms grew from 146,989 (2016) to 173,041 (2024), reflecting the county's rapid population growth rather than a partisan shift in share. WorthFighting does not infer why any demographic group voted a particular way without evidence, does not claim fraud or irregularities without verified evidence, and does not alter the raw result tables above to support this analysis.

Methodology

Data Sources

All results on this page are drawn from official sources: the Georgia Secretary of State, Gwinnett County Elections, certified Statement of Votes Cast reports, and the official Gwinnett County precinct portal (Enhanced Voting). No television graphics or media widgets are used as a primary source.

Certification Status

Each result is labeled Certified or Unofficial. Results remain labeled "Unofficial" until the county certifies them. Once certified, the label is updated and historical certified data is never overwritten by incomplete feeds.

Percentage Calculation

Candidate percentages are calculated as (candidate votes ÷ total votes cast in that race), using certified totals. Third-party and write-in votes are included in the denominator and reported separately where official data supports it.

Turnout Calculation

Turnout percentage = (ballots cast ÷ registered voters), using official registered-voter counts. Where the official registered-voter count is not yet verified, turnout is shown as "Pending official data" rather than estimated.

Precinct Comparisons

Precinct comparisons across cycles require comparable boundaries. Georgia redrew districts after the 2020 Census and Gwinnett periodically adjusts precinct lines. WorthFighting does not claim a precinct "shifted" politically when boundary changes affect comparability.

Ties & Third-Party Votes

Ties are reported as they appear in certified results. Third-party and independent candidates are grouped as "Other" only when individual candidate totals are not separately certified; otherwise each candidate is listed by name.

Editorial separation: Raw result tables on this page are neutral and factual. Any WorthFighting editorial analysis appears only in the clearly labeled "What the Results Mean" section and is separated from the data. WorthFighting does not alter raw result presentation to support an editorial conclusion and does not claim fraud or irregularities without verified evidence.
