Pirates and The Carriage currently list Monday and Tuesday hours. The Alabama Aquarium and Fort Gaines publish regular visiting hours with annual holiday exceptions. It is not a complete business directory or a live "open now" service. The schedules below are what the linked pages displayed when checked; confirm the operator's latest information before making a special trip.

These operator pages provide a starting point for planning lunch or dinner. Their published closing times do not separately establish the last seating, kitchen cutoff or availability of every menu item.

The Monday–Tuesday discrepancy to know about

The town's Carriage listing says Monday and Tuesday are closed, while The Carriage's own island page includes both in its Sunday–Wednesday schedule. This guide uses the operator's published hours and discloses the conflict; it does not claim the town page has been formally corrected.

The research did not establish a dependable operator-confirmed weekday breakfast schedule for the other candidates screened. That is a gap in this guide—not evidence that breakfast is unavailable on the island.

An older Fort Gaines hours page omits New Year's Day from its closure list and displays different admission prices. The operator's main fort page and the town's fort page both list a January 1 closure, although their adult prices also differ. The schedule below follows the named closures; this guide does not select a ticket price from the inconsistent listings.

The supplied research did not establish specific 2026–2027 holiday-meal announcements or grocery holiday hours for the selected businesses. An ordinary Thursday or Friday timetable is not enough to promise Thanksgiving or Christmas service. A business without an announcement belongs in the unconfirmed category, not automatically in an "open" or "closed" list.

Reservations are required and places are limited; this review did not check availability. The operator may cancel for weather or insufficient participation. The lab tour includes indoor and outdoor walking, so it is not an entirely indoor outing. Some later lab-tour entries print ambiguous times and are not reproduced here. For group visits, the Aquarium asks for at least 48 hours' notice for reserved group rates for ten or more. Fort Gaines describes guided tours for groups of at least 15 with a minimum of two weeks' advance notice. These group arrangements are separate from ordinary visiting hours.

Are restaurants open during winter?

The dining table identifies ordinary operator-published schedules that can help you plan. It does not establish that every listed business has committed to those hours throughout October 2026–February 2027. Skinner's explicitly dated summer schedule is withheld from the winter-hours comparison rather than extended by assumption.

Where can I eat on Monday or Tuesday?
