Colorado School Parental Notification & Student Records Tracker
Colorado's enacted chosen-name provisions require a written school policy. The Denver federal investigation does not itself establish that the district violated PPRA or that the state's statute has been enjoined.
Agency allegations, findings, district responses and court orders are labeled separately. Unknown means not established by the records reviewed.

Direct answers and FAQ
Does a chosen-name policy eliminate FERPA access?
No such exception is established by the cited laws. Apply the federal maintained-record definition and access rules.
Is Denver's PPRA investigation a final finding?
No. The July 28 announcement opens an investigation. Its separate Title IX component should not be merged with PPRA.
