• End sanctuary policies that obstruct federal immigration law and put communities at risk. Sovereignty and public safety go hand in hand — secure borders mean fewer violent criminals on our streets.
• Prioritize victims’ rights. Government must treat victims with dignity, speed prosecutions, and ensure restitution when appropriate. Families must be central to our justice system, not an afterthought.

These measures defend limited government — not by shrinking the government’s duty to protect, but by insisting it do that duty well and constitutionally.

Faith, Family, and the Moral Order

Crime is not merely a policy problem; it is a cultural one. Strong families, faith communities, and civic institutions are the first line of defense against lawlessness. Conservatives champion policies that strengthen parents, expand school choice, and foster moral clarity. When communities are empowered to teach accountability and responsibility, young people are less likely to be drawn into criminal activity.

Government cannot substitute for parents, pastors, and neighbors. But when the state abdicates its obligation to protect those vulnerable families, it disrupts the moral order those institutions sustain.

Practical, Limited Federal Action

Washington’s role is to support states and localities, not to dictate every step. The federal government should:

• Enforce immigration laws that protect communities from dangerous foreign nationals.

We must be resolute. Speak for victims. Vote for leaders who will secure our streets, support our police, and hold lawbreakers accountable. Reject false choices that pit liberty against security. A free society requires both: liberty under the protection of law.
